Going private
The time has come..... our family blog is going private. If you want an invite, just send me you e-mail so I can add you. You can leave a comment or e-mail me at shanaenator@gmail.com If you are a friend of a friend or whatever, just let me know if you want an invite. I will probably change it over in a week:)
HeLp!
I was working at the salon today, just a normal day. Until my 5 o'clock clients show up that is. They are all long time clients, a dad and his two grown sons. I did the Dad's hair first, then on to my next, the older son. Things are going along smoothly, he just got married and is expecting a baby. We are just chatting it up, talking about baby stuff and pain tolerance. He starts to tell me about a car accident he had been in a while ago and that he had broke his ribs and his then girlfriend had accidentally pushed on them a few times when he says to me, " man, I am getting light headed," and he looked down and I didn't think anything at that point. Oh no, he was not looking down he had PASSED OUT. He them slumps in the chair and his head falls back and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. His feet had fallen off the little metal bar and hit the mirror which almost came tumbling down on him (they are not attached to anything) and I am panicking. I look to the girl working behind me in my panicked state and said, "my client just passed out, oh my gosh." I run up front and grab his dad and his brother, they run back and try to get him to wake up. It takes a minute but finally wakes up, and then he started sweating like crazy. I realized I am not a good person to have around in case of emergency, because I just stand there shocked.Oh my, good thing he was done with his haircut. Wow, that is a first and something I never thought would ever happen to me. I still feel a little sick about it, it was so crazy.

This last week
We went on a sweet hike with Stewart's family in Red Rock. The weather was beautiful and we all had a great time, especially the kids. Ella and Jake insisted on doing most of it themselves. It was pretty cute. Ella would climb on big rocks with Stewart's help and she would just keep saying, "rock climbing."

Adam, Ella and Jake chillin' in a little cave

We went on a run and Ella just wanted to get out and walk herself. I promised her she could pull out her stroller when we got home if she would stay in her stroller for the run. Sure enough she went for it and we walked all around our block. It was really cute. We had a little malfunction when we lost a wheel:) But we were up and running in no time.

We headed out to the oh so fab Town Square mall over the weekend. We walked around, played at the little park and saw Santa Claus. Yes you read that right, Santa Claus. I couldn't believe he was out so early but Ella did great and didn't even cry. Apparently Ella wants a bike for Christmas. When we were in line we asked her what she was going to ask Santa for, she looked right at me and said, " a bike." Who knew:) He is a great Santa, and Ella loved it.

Check out her face in all three pictures. This is pretty much what she does for all pictures now:) Silly girl.

Any Potty Training Advice?
I'm still not sure if I'm ready but I think she is. She has gone #1 everyday now, 3-5 times a day. She has even gone #2- it was a shock for us all. Sometimes she even goes by herself without me asking her (#1). She is still in diapers most of the time, she has underwear but sometimes doesn't want to wear them. I don't really want to push her. Any ADVICE is more than welcome:)

Happy Halloween
Ella was Raggedy Ann.... but I am sure you can figure that out:)
This year we had a really fun Halloween. We started the night out at my Mom's for some yummy chili, cornbread and various other treats. Thanks mom, it was delicious. Then we went to her trunk or treat, and then to Stewart's parents trunk or treat. Ella had a great time getting candy, she wouldn't even let me hold her pumpkin that was very heavy. I think she thought I was going to steal her candy:) Then we were driving home and decided to take her trick or treating around our neighborhood. I am so glad we did. I think that was her favorite part. Besides a run in with the hulk:) She would just go up to the doors, knock and say trick or treat. Seriously cute. She was not wanting it to end. It reminded me of when I used to go out as a kid. Fun times.
