LONDON: July 2012

Ella was able to go with us, what a great traveler she was. She will sleep anywhere and had no problem with jet lag either way. Bless this girl.

In July we had the opportunity to go to London. What a wonderful experience, we were gone a little over a week but the trip will have to be broken up into several posts. Stewart's parents were in Europe all summer, and I am still wishing we could have pulled that off. It's not a time in life where that would have worked so I am extremely grateful for the time we did have.

The beautiful cottage we stayed in. It was located about and hour outside of london in a cute little village named Hannigton Wick.

Our first real day after sleeping our jet lag off.
We went to Warwick Castle. It was really fun to explore, it is very commercialized now but still fun. Ella thought being at a real castle was amazing. It rained on us ALL day,

Part of Warwick Castle  behind us, it looks fake to me, like a back drop.

 Trying to stay dry

After the castle we walked around Warwick. The little villages are delightful:)
It stopped pouring on us for a little bit.
Our view from lunch, so different than we are used to.
Between stops there was a lot of sleeping going on, especially our fist day.

Last stop of the day was Oxford. What a gorgeous place, I am so amazed at the beautiful architecture. It just kinda blows you away.

A great part of our day was seeing Luke. My mom was the best and kept him for over a week for us. We were able to skype him most days and I loved seeing that face I missed so much. He would have hated the trip so that helped knowing he couldn't have handled it at this age.

Some Random pictures

Some random pictures because I'm to lazy to put them in there own post:_
Swimming lessons with Rosie in July before we left for London. Ella did fabulous like always and Luke even picked it up a little bit. He eventually followed in his sisters footsteps and jumped off the diving board and the slide. I don't know what we would do with out Rosie.

 Free slurpee day before swimming

In May, (this is way out of order) was Ella's preschool graduation. Tear, she is now well into kindergarten. She had a great last year with Ms Boedee. Ella loved school and her little friends
It kills me that she is so grown up

June:2012

Ahh! I am so behind on this blog. Part of me wants to just say forget it, and not worry about updating it anymore. I just can't do it, it's my way of journaling. So , here we go.

In June, we headed to Yellowstone with my Dad's side of the family. Everyone was able to go to celebrate my Grandma's 80th birthday. I was so excited to go, and remember loving Yellowstone as a kid. It did not disappoint and I loved every minute spent with my family. I wish we could see them all more but such is life. I am grateful we were able to celebrate my Grandma, one of the best women I know. And a big thank you to my aunt, Kathleen who put it all together and grocery shopped and got us all set up. It was a fabulous week, and lots of memories were made. Luke is still asking to go back.

We took Ella horseback riding, she loved every minute. She did fall off her horse, Shadow but got right back on

Henry's Lake with Maddie. My kids love, love my cousins

We got a canoe and floated down Mack's inn river. Ella caught this fish on her own and the hook was stuck right in the eye. She was saying, "it's so gross," over and over. I think she is traumatized from this.

On our way back to Utah we stopped by Bear World, we all had a great time.

And some, random out of order pictures from the trip.
