Back to School

(Ella wanted to take the one of Stew and I, and of course the sweet ones of me)
Ella started preschool again this year, and is loving it so far. The week before she started Stew and I took her to an open house to meet her teacher and on a little date. I love spending one on one time with my girl and she was in pure heaven with all attention on her. She wanted to go to Olive garden and after her open house we hit up yougurtland.
All these pictures are the morning of Ella's first day.
Self portraits on the way to school!

She is growing up too fast, and looked adorable on her first day to school.
My little cuties in the bath.

Family Reunion: August 2011

In August we headed north for the Stewart family reunion. We were able to stay with one of my most favorite people, my grandma. She is the nicest person you will ever meet. We were able to spend some time with her and then on saturday we went to lagoon with Stewart's family. I hadn't been there in years and it was a total blast. We rode rides and took advantage of then nice water park they have. Ella loved ALL the rides, she is a little dare devil sometimes. I love that about her.
My loves.
Stewart and Lowell rode this cannon thing that shoots you really high. It was crazy, but they both loved it.
My cute little 15 year old. Haha.
Check out Ella's face. She is really annoyed with her brother.
Luke is ready to go shooting with Daddy.
I drove the whole way home, and listened to my headphones instead of listening to disney movies.

Summer Days!

The only way to stay cool at the park during the summer in Vegas is to hit up the splash pads. Kristin found a cool park, and it is our new favorite park. It has a a very large splash pad and the playgrounds are covered. So it stays cooler and no burned bums. We logged many hours at the park this summer, and even when we are at the park for three hours it seems to never be long enough for the kids.

Family time

A few weeks ago we decided to do a few touristy things with the comptons, horns and my bro James....
Bellagio gardens
Flamingo hotel to check out the flamingo's and the fish
Is anyone suprised to see Luke climbing and trying to get over the fence... yeah me either.,
She really loved the flamingo's, and I am digging her, "really another picture, mom" look.
Water fountains are always a big hit

Luv- it's frozen custard

Grandma Camp:2011

Kathryn took the older grand kids to Mammoth creek cabin for a few days this summer and had the 1st official grandma camp. From the sounds of things the kids had a blast staying up late and getting up early, and pretty much just playing all day! They also hit up the green show in Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival- A Christensen tradition. They see plays every summer. Thanks for having her Kathryn- I guess next years Grandma camp will be taking place in London next year since that is where you will be all summer....j/k!!
How cute is this picture?!?!
Tire swing in front of the cabin
