One crazy baby!!!

Three little monkeys....

We were in Brian Head for memorial day and had a great time. We decided to put the little ones in the bath together (the classic picture for embarrassing them as teenagers:)

It was nice to get away for memorial day but I have to say it is always nice to come home to your own house and bed. Ella loves her crib and does so much better when she is in it and in her own room. She is changing so much everyday, last week she figured out how to go from sitting up to laying on her tummy in one smooth move instead of just falling over. She is the best baby ever. We love her so much!

7 months old!

Oh how the time flies. Ella Bella is a big 7 months today. I can't believe it, I really can't. She is changing so much. So here is the low down on all of her sweet talents.... lately she does the funniest thing where she smiles and wrinkles up her nose and breathes like a little bull dog (not so much a talent, but funny!) She now weighs about 18 pounds, the last time I weighed her at least. She loves to sit up, and only will stand when we are holding on to her. She has been scooting a bit, she just needs to figure out how to hold up her head. To get things she wants she just rolls to get it. She has been sleeping from 7pm till 8am- I'm still not sure how I got so lucky. She loves to hear the sound of her voice, and loves to scream. She also has a thing for fake coughing. We took her swimming and now only likes to be held on her back in the pool. She loves big people food, and is constantly grabbing for whatever we have. She is getting better at her sippy cup, but it is still a work in progress. Whenever we go out Ella can't sit still. She is so interested in everything around her, and loves to touch things. Needless to say she is a busy body. I am hoping she takes her time crawling and walking. I'm not ready for that. The picture above is Ella wondering why she has a twin sister we never told her about:) Actually she just loves to kiss herself.

Sleeping Beauty

Ella still loves her sleep. Sleeping still around 17-18 hours a day. This was last night after we went out to dinner with Stewart's family. Which was a little traumatic for her. We went to Osaka, we sat at the tables where they cook right in front of you. They bang things together, start volcano fires in the onions and things. Ella was not a fan, crying and getting all upset so when we got in the car she was a happy camper and went right to sleep.

I had way to many pictures I wanted to post. So, Ella has found a new favorite food. I have never seen that girl go after anything like that... she totally attacked the corn like crazy. She does grab anything she can get fast enough before I move it, and she is fast. But she went to tow, I think that I found a new teething biscuit. We were at my mom's for dinner and Ella got a little too. It is so cute, she is learning to drink from a sippy cup too. She gets some out and looks around like, " what the heck is going on here." She is awesome.

Happy Mother's Day

Today was my first mother's day and is was awesome. I love being a mom, it is seriously the most amazing thing ever. It is so rewarding. I am so grateful for my beautiful baby girl. It is the best feeling ever when you walk into a room and she see's me and has a huge smile and her legs go a million miles an hour. She is the best baby ever, she never cries, and is just pretty much happy all the time. I never imagined being a mom could be so great. I love my little family so much.

A few random pictures

So, Stewart has been finishing up school, for about a month anyway. He was crazy busy for the last few weeks and all the madness has finally ended. Yeah for Ella and I because we will actually see him. He was up until 6:30 am with no sleep for those few long weeks. He would sleep from 6:30am till 9am or so and then off to school and then would pull another all nighter. He has all studio classes with huge projects that require major model building and much more. But this picture is actually after he finished a drawing he had to do for a class. It was around 5 am so I was asleep, thank goodness or he would have had to use the hose in the backyard to clean up those black hands. And the picture of Ella just because I love her long eyelashes... lucky girl.

Aunt Midgee needs some credit!

So, my mistake, Ella's aunt Ashlyn helped clean her up yesterday after her giant explosion as well as her Grammy. She just wanted some credit. So thanks to Ashlyn Ella no longer smelled like poo.

Blow out!

So, my mom watched Ella today and she had a huge blow out. It was everywhere, up her back all over her clothes. So lucky Grammy got to clean her all up. Ella's favorite part was that she got take a bath in the sink. Last night we had family home evening at Anna's. We got a cute picture of the babies. They are both getting so big. Ella just wanted to grab Jake's hair and push him over..... we are hoping we don't have a bully on our hands. The last picture is funny because it looks like they are in a serious conversation. Ella's doing great, getting big and learning new things all the time.
