Cuddled up with my girl!

We were watching one of Ella's favorite shows: wipeout!!! She thinks it is hilarious so sometimes she stays up late and we watch it.

I think Luke is trying to shorten my life span....

After this picture he pit his leg up to finish the rest of his climb. Let's take bets on how many broken bones and stitches this kid will get in his lifetime.

Sunday Best

This is what happens when I have to wake up Luke for church. At least he looks so handsome in his little suit!
SIMPLY ADORABLE! Enough said.
She is my sweet little girl who lets me dress her up and do her hair. She loves getting all dressed up.
Church with Luke is PAINFUL. He does ok in sacrament and then forget the rest of the meetings. We hang out in the halls and the gym. It is going to be a long, long four months.
Sometimes I resort to putting him in between the doors, and he thinks it is funny for a little while and then I get this: see below picture.

Then after the doors get old we hang in the gym and Luke does things like this. Plus he likes to bonk his head on the floor to hear the thud. Awesome!

First trip to the dentist

Don't judge. Yes, Ella is four and this was her first trip to the dentist. Even though I was so nervous it couldn't have gone better. She let them get x-rays and everything. I was in the next room getting my teeth cleaned and could her her talking and talking to the hygienist. It was adorable. She is such a good girl and so well behaved. The lady hygienist said she was one of the best behaved children she has done. Go Ella. No cavities, thank goodness.

Spring Break park two: Utah

We made it home late Monday night from California and left again Thursday. This time we headed to Utah for some much needed time with my side of the family. We of course stayed with my Grandma. She is the BEST. I was so sad when I got home and realized I had no pictures with my grandma and the kids. My Grandma spoils us when we are there and Ella always looks forward to a toys r us trip:)
Out of order but this is Easter morning. Ella is so fun to watch and was ecstatic when she learned the Easter bunny had still come to see her even though we were at my Grandma's.
Saturday was all about the Laughter Easter egg hunt. My Grandma Laughter has done is for years. I remember it as a kids. I always loved it and now my kids get to experience it as well. She even has pinatas. Again, I don't know why I didn't get pictures with my grandparents. Although it was so cold in Utah. Blah. So I barley took ANY pictures since i was freezing. Thanks to my wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Laughter for the wonderful egg hunt.
She was so serious trying to hit the pinata.
With all her goods.
Luke didn't care to much for the collecting of Easter eggs and just tried to throw them out when I put them in his basket:)

Rewind to Spring Break

Spring break was CRAZY. The first weekend of spring break we headed to sunny California for some fun with Stewart's family. We went to the beach and Disneyland. We all had a great time and are thankful Anna and Al let us stay with them. I am sure having constant visitors is stressful and can get crazy with so many people staying in one place but they are always willing to put a roof over our head.....for free. Thanks guys!
The boys.... I know I am biased, but it doesn't get much cuter than these boys. I am so lucky to be around such handsome guys:)
I told Ella to give me, "I love Disneyland and am so happy to be here face." This is what I got.
My sleeping babies. Ella asks me every time we are in Disneyland if she can get in her stroller and take a nap... love that girl.
Cutie pies!

Beachin it up!!!! Do you like how both kids are looking different ways?!?! Story of my life. Sheesh!
I could squeeze this little lady all day, well when she isn't being grumpy.
Collecting sea shells
Collecting rocks (which he loves) and eating sand.
I love this little man and he is seriously the happiest guy around. Happy and NAUGHTY. He is one busy boy but does everything with a smile.

Jake and Ella. Seriously. cute. together.
These two might be two peas in a pod and it's probably good we don't live in the same state. Pretty sure they would feed off each other.

Shark Reef

Elliot and Ella

A few weekends ago we went to the shark reef with the Compton's and the Davidson's. It is always a hit with the kids.
She wouldn't touch the sting rays. Luke on the other hand wanted to grab it out of the water, the one finger rule didn't go over well with him.

Me and my baby.
The only picture I could get of the boys and Nolan is missing. You can see why because even in this one Luke is headed out on to his next adventure.
This picture made me laugh. I think my girl is so beautiful:)

5.10.2011

Reason for my lack of blogging.

(Luke thinks we are trying to kill him every time we do this. He screams the WHOLE time)

Unfortunately things have been CRAZY lately! Not a good crazy either, more like a, I want to pull my hair out crazy!
Today is May 10th which means this craziness has been going on for 10 days.
Starting May 1st (Sunday) I took Ella to the ER.
Yes
I
am
A
CRAZY
mom!
She had a high fever and would scream for literally five minutes after she went to the bathroom, and of course it was the weekend, and all you mom's out there know it always happens on the weekend or at night. I'm very glad I took her because she had a UTI. Her third in her short little life. She is getting an ultrasound in the morning so they can check her for reflux with her kidneys.
Fast forward to Friday.
Ella has a follow up with the doctor and Luke is supposed to get shots since at his one year he had an ear infection. Ella pees in a cup and all is well, infection gone. The doctor checks her out some more and she has bronchitis. What?!?! They give Luke a few shots and we are on our way.
Sunday Luke is not feeling well, crabby, not eating. I don't think much of it. Monday morning I go get him out of bed he is BURNING up. 103.5 fever so of course he gets some Tylenol and a half hour later her is still BURNING up. Now his fever is 104.3. Holy smokes! It is still to early to go to the doctor so we take him to the ER. They catheterized him and take chest x-rays and he has an pneumonia. They are treating him out patient, we have steroids, antibiotics and breathing treatments. Oh, and he has another ear infection. So, yesterday Luke was tortured (literally) with antibiotic and steroid shots and everything in between. Today we were back at the doctor so they could check him out and give him another shot.
Yay us!!
Lets go over this again folks....
within the last few weeks or so we have had:
ear infections
bronchitis
UTI
and and pneumonia.
Since May 1st we have been to the ER TWICE, probably 6-8 doctor appointments, and tomorrow Ella has her ultrasound of her kidneys at 9:00am. The we will go to dance at 10:30 and then Ella and I will be at the dentist at 1:00 for teething cleanings. Plus next week Luke has to see and ENT since he can't shake his ear infections which probably means tubes.
The icing on the cake is last week Stewart and I were both at the dentist to get cavities filled.
I am SICK of doctors (of all kinds)!!!
Good thing we have health insurance or I might have to sell a kidney, or possibly a child.

The END!

I will stop complaining now.
