Ella's new hair do and visitors

So, I am happy to report that Ella finally has a little hair. Just enough for a little pony tail on the top of her head. Stewart says it looks silly but I think she looks cute. Maybe she will start to get a little more hair- but she will probably be bald and beautiful until she is five:)
On another note my Dad was in town for a quick visit. He flew in from Ohio to meet his wife and the boys who came into town from California. He is living in Ohio, and as soon as they sell the house in California the boys and Beth will meet him in Ohio. They are actually going to settle down in Kentucky (most likely) which is really close to Ohio- just over a bridge I guess. So, it was fun to have them here and Ella loved seeing her two red headed little uncles. They were at our house today and brought Ella a cute toy that she loves. We are always happy to see them and Ella loves all the attention.

What a crazy sleeper!

I never know how she will be sleeping when I go in her room to check on her:)

One step at a time:)

Just wanted to put up a little post for miss Ella. We went to our house to check our mail and hang out for a little while after we dropped Stewart's little bro's off at piano and Ella was so excited. She was smiling and laughing when we walked into our house since we have been gone so long. Happy to be back in her element she was just exploring going everywhere and then she pulled herself up onto the wall and from there continued to take two steps from the wall to the love seat. She did it without even thinking about it, then Stewart and I made a big deal and she started clapping and laughing. Then Stewart was holding onto her and she let go and headed for the couch- smart little girl. Usually Stewart and I sit there and make her walk to one of us but this time she did it all by herself. It was just a few steps but thats a a big deal to us first time parents. Nice work Ella Bella:)

Ice cream festival

Today we went to an ice cream festival and had a great time. Ella loved looking around at all the kids and all the rides that were there. We also rode a sweet train that went around in circles. Stewart is working for his dad and the company had a booth there so we got in free and had all the ice cream we wanted to eat. I'm not a fan of ice cream but Stewart loved it, Ella even scored a few bites.
On anther note, we have been at Stewart's parents for a week now babysitting his two little brothers, and we have about a week to go. Ah geez! It's going well but Ella is missing her bed and her own house. We have gone home a couple times so she can have a nap and she gets so excited to see her crib. She is also getting more teeth- I feel so bad for her. I can't wait until she has all of them, but she only has 5- almost six which means that we have a long way to go.

Our little flower

So, I know it's not Halloween yet but her costume just came in the mail and I had to try it on her. I couldn't resist showing off how cute she looks in it. I love it.

Labor Day!

Over Labor Day we went to visit my Grandma. She just moved into a new house after living in the same house for over fifty years. It is sooo nice. She spoiled Ella and got her some really new cute clothes. We had a great time just visiting with family. We also went to visit my Grandpa and Grandma Laughter.... Ella was a bit overwhelmed with all the new people, but did a great job. It was a great weekend. Ella loved Madison, they played the piano, played with toys and all in all Ella just enjoyed playing with her. I am also very happy to report that Ella has officially taken her first steps. Thats right folks- she took 4 steps in a row and then has just taken a few here and there but when she realizes that she is walking she sits down. I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up. She has also learned how to blow kisses- it's so adorable. She just opens her mouth and puts her hand on her mouth. She also has the cutest little wave, and loves to clap. She is so much fun, I can't stand it:)
