Check out pictures below

Last week we went to Newport for a whole week. It was awesome and Ella loved the beach and hanging out in the ocean. She loved splashing around and eating the sand off her hands. We were with Stewart's family so Ella had a great time with her 3 cousins. We rode bikes, body surfed, boogie boarded, stewart surfed, walked, and yes we even roller bladed. It was so relaxing, it's hard to get back in the swing of things.
On another note, Ella had her nine month check up... what the heck, it has gone by so fast. She is getting so big. Her height is in the 95th percentile her weight around 85th, and she has a big head it's in the 75th percentile. So Ella is tall and a chubster, the doctor said she will more than likely be five ten or five eleven. Way taller than me. I love how chubby she is. Also she has started standing on her own and does it everyday, she also pull her self up on everything in sight. She is now walking holding onto the furniture, and then lets go thinking that she can walk. She still just scoots, no crawling but she is really fast. We are all doing well and just enjoying Ella. I am so sad, I am leaving her next week for FIVE days. Ahhh. I am going to go crazy. I'm going to New York with Kathryn, Anna and Danielle so I will have a great time but will be going crazy because I miss her the whole time. I don't think Stewart knows what he is in for:)

These are a few of my favirote things

Ella has decided that she is not a fan of baby food- any of it. Not fruits or veggies. I don't know what the deal is. She loves big people food, and anything that she can feed herself. So we are trying some new things out. She has had a banana, pb&j, mixed frozen veggies, mac and cheese, ect! I bought a grinder today and tried to give her what we had for dinner, which was stir fry and let me say, she's not a fan. I looked online and there are tuns of things that she can have. Grilled cheese, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, egg yoaks, pasta, waffles, pancakes and much more. So we will see how it goes. She is just so independent, and likes to feed herself. I was suprised that anything cooked in cows milk she can actually have, so that is sweet. She likes big girl food:) Lucky me! She is eight months and is going to be having pancakes and egg yokes for breakfast. Secondly, she loves her rubber duckie. Seriously, she will not let it go the entire time she is in her bath and when it floats away she tries to grab it. Yes, this has resulted in a few face plants into the water. But to her it is totally worth it if she has her duck in the end. Thirdly, this girl can not be stopped when it comes to standing. Saturday, I walked into her room to find her standing up looking at me, she had pulled herself up. Now she will pull herself up on anything that is short or sturdy enough. She pulls herself up on us all the time. She will also stick her butt in the air with her face on the floor with her legs staight like she is trying to stand but her upper body just isn't cooperating. She also thinks when she is walking holding on our finger she can just let go, even when she is holding onto the couch, crazy women. Other than that we are looking forward to Saturday when we head to Newport Beach for a week. We are going with Stewart's family and I am planning on hanging out at the beach all day, we will see if our little bug will let that happen. Maybe I can dig her a sand crib, probably not:)

This is awesome!

Crazy Ella!!!

Hello, I don't think she has figured out yet that this is not the most comfortable way to sleep. We went in to check on her a few days ago in the morning and found her sleeping like this. Then, she woke up to the flash and as you can tell by her face she was not happy to be woken up. Then that afternoon while at my mom's house she decided to sleep the same way(top picture). Well, not ton's to report here, but Ella's top teeth came through and she is getting as big as ever. She is moving so fast these days. She can get to anything she wants and at a good speed. She had her first little mishap, well I guess it is her second, first one happened at Grammy's house- she got so excited in her swing when my mom was getting her out that she knocked off the tray and fell out but it was close to the ground so she was ok, then yesterday she fell off the bed at her Grandma's house, she was not happy. She is just way to active for her own good. Good thing they are resiliant and now probably has forgotten all about it, poor girl.

Fun in the sun

This last weekend we had a chance to head to Southern Cali to visit my Dad. We had a blast and Ella was spoiled rotten by her Grandpa and Nana Beth. Saturday we headed to Newport and had a great time. Ella loves the water, so she loved the beach. She liked to sit in the water and stand up and splash. She also loves the sand, just not on her little hands :) Stewart and I were so excited to take her to the beach, since we love it so much. It is so fun to take her to new places, we love her so much. She is the cutest. Then we went to the mall and Ella got some new clothes, shoes, toys and a night light- thanks to her grandparents on SoCal. We had a great weekend. It was fun to see my family.

Busted!!

So, I went into my room for a few seconds and came out to find little miss Ella had scooted under our table. She is getting to fast. She loves that she is able to get around. She has been scooting for awhile but is getting faster and faster everyday. My life as I know it is over. This morning I was getting ready and she managed to get into my make-up and knock a chair on her head. Time to baby proof the house, if that's possible.
