Happy 28th Birthday Stewart

We had a great time for Stewart's 28th birthday. We partied it up all night long....lol. This is how his day went:

Ella and I made him bacon, waffles, fresh whipped cram and strawberries. We woke him up singing to him and gave him his presents.
That night we started out at his favorite pizza place, Verrazano's. We have been going there since we were in high school.
We then headed down to Fremont Street to do the zip line. I highly recommend it,,, very fun.
Actually while we waited to do the zip line we went to a place called insert coins and played some video games... sweet.
Messing around on Fremont Street.
Somehow we ended up at the sweet Vegas sign and took some awesome pictures.
We ended the night playing bingo for the first time, it was really fun but we didn't win anything. Oh well, five buck for an hour of entertainment... can't go wrong.
And these guys were in good hands while we partied all night... I guess that's what you call it. Thanks Mom and Trent.
Happy birthday Stewart, we love you:)

Fourth of July and Stay cation

This year for the fourth we swam and had a barbecue (two actually, one with my family and another with Stew's)
It was so fun to just hang out and swim ALL day long. Ella was in the pool from 10:30-5:30, she even ate lunch on the step. She had the time of her life.
Ella loves to jump off the wall into the pool, Luke enjoyed lounging around and eating.
Ella really is such a fish, I start to worry that she swims so long she is going to get tired and drowned- but she insists swimming doesn't make her tired.

That night we headed over to Thom and Kathryn's for our second BBQ, swimming and some fireworks. Ella had fun but then resorted to sitting on Great grandma's lap when the loud ones went off.

STAY CATION: Golden Nugget
The pool is pretty awesome, it has a shark tank in the middle which was a big hit for all the kids. It also has a sweet slide that Ella braved twice. She is so little that the first time she went she started out sitting up and Stewart said when she came down she was on her tummy and her legs came out first. Hahaha...oops. But she wanted to go again the next morning and I laugh whenever I look at the picture of her coming out:)

We had fun lounging by the pool, mostly I lounged by the pool because I get the worst anxiety when it come to public pools. I hate to think about all the stuff that's in the water. Thanks to Kathryn who kept Luke over night so we could enjoy the pool and not be chasing him everywhere. He swam at night and then we put him to bed at Kathryn's. It was nice. Thanks to the Compton's, Horns and Davidson's for the fun time:)

Swimming lessons

This years swimming lesson went great. Ella has turned into such a little fish. She gets more confident every year. Sometime I can't believe how brave she is and she listened great to Rosie once again this year. A few new things she learned are, swimming across the pool taking breaths, jumping in from the side and going onto her back, and she even tried the slide this year and love it. She is a great little swimmer and we are so proud of her:)
Luke didn't do swimming lessons but he enjoyed every minute of them

Little Mermaid

Ella and I went along with Kristin and Elliot to St. George in June for Elliot's birthday. We stayed over night at a hotel (the girls where in heaven), saw the Little Mermaid , and swam at the hotel. We had a good time and I loved spending some one on one time with my girl. Thanks to Kristin for planning a fun trip.

Fairytales and Tutu's

Here is her whole class.

Miss Ella loves all things girly. Including dancing. My good friend recommended this dance studio and I thought we would give it a try. Ella LOVES it. The first part of the class is them learning all things ballet, then they read a fairytale, dress up in whatever the story was about and dance around in their little costumes. Simply ADORABLE. What is not to love:) Ella even got to go to a little dance camp for four day where they made crafts, had tea parties, and dressed up some more. I like it because they don't have big recitals, and at the end of the session the parents get to go in and see their little performances.
Elliot did the dance camp with Ella and I'm pretty sure they had a fabulous time. The last day we got to watch a little dance they had learned. Each girl got to pick their favorite princess to dress up in for the dance. Ella picked snow white- her all time favorite.
Luke loves to watch Ella. He stands on the stool and says her name over and over and just laughs. He is a BIG fan of his sister.
