Our little man

We had an ultra sound and our little man is doing great and growing well:) Our u/s lady was laughing so hard when she saw his cheeks. They are HUGE! And he loves to suck on his hand!

If you looks closely you can see the fat line on his cheek. These are what I like to call, " Christensen cheeks." I can't believe how large they look. Ella had chubby cheeks but this little man may pass her up:)

According to the u/s, which I am sure can be off, he weighs 5 pounds and is measuring two weeks bigger, and his belly is measuring 3 weeks bigger. She also said he has really long legs. I told Stewart that the u/s is probably off and he will be a tiny little thing. I guess we will see soon. But we just love him so much and are SOOO excited to have a boy.

Ella- ism's

Miss Ella is such a funny girl. Sometimes I just never know what she will say. It is really crazy how kids are like sponges and just suck everything in.

I can't believe how much she is learning in sunbeams. I am so thankful for her wonderful teacher Sister Fischer. She is a great teacher and Ella has learned so much in the few short weeks she has been in there. This last Sunday Ella learned about how she had a spirit body in Heaven and then when she came to earth she got her body. I love when she tells me about what she has learned. I am really surprised about how much she pays attention.

Well, with all this learning comes questions. All week she has been asking me, " How do we get back to Heaven Mom." Well I spare her most the details for now and just tell her that when Heavenly Fatter decides it is time for us to come back to Heaven we will go back to . So at FHE this week we were talking and Ella asked how we get home to Heavenly Father, I just gave me usual answer and she said, "oh, we will go the the airport and fly home to Heavenly Father." She was very excited about it- pretty funny. Kids are to smart. I sure love my little one.

Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We had a delicious dinner with the Christensen's and hung out for a bit and then it was off to my mom's to stay the night. Christmas morning was a blast and Ella loved all of her gifts. Everyone she opened up she wanted to take out of the package and play with. Of course she was spoiled:) We hung out all day and my mom made a wonderful Christmas dinner and we just relaxed. It was a great day!

Ella decided this year she wanted to make rice krispies for Santa. Of course Santa loved that, I heard they are his favorite:)

Opening her Christmas pj's on Christmas Eve.

Putting out Santa's yummy treats

Santa even stopped by Grammy's- Ella must have been a really good girl!

One of her favorite presents- a crawling baby

All her presents:) She is in love with her kitchen! Everyday she makes me cookies, eggs, or whatever she throws together.

I hardly took any pictures on Christmas morning. It was just so fun how excited Ella was about everything I forgot to pick up my camera

New Year's Eve we headed up to the cabin with my family. We had a great time relaxing and playing in the snow. Ella really loves the snow, she would play all day if I let her.

Ella knows how to party

Crazy Ella.... funny thing is my friend has a little girl with curly hair and when I took Ella's hair out of her braids she looked at it and said, " now my hair looks like Claire's hair:)" Who knew kids paid so much attention!

Enjoying the snow

Up and down the hill for some sweet sledding

Stew taught Kyle how to snowboard

Ella decided she needed a beanie and that she would snowboard in the cabin like her dad. She ran around for ever pretending:)

My hot husband... love him.

Jesus wants me for a SuNbEaM!!!

Miss Ella graduated from nursery today and now she is a sunbeam. She was so excited and has been singing, "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam," all day. They had such a cute little graduation in nursery and then took them to singing time in the primary room and them off to their new class. All the kids looked so cute in white shirts and caps. Darling. We are so thankful for Ella's cute teacher Sister Watkins and how great she is with the kids. She has made nursery easy for Ella and now we are looking forward to her new little adventure into sunbeams.

-I still need to catch up on other posts but this was to cute not to put up

Ella's cap kept falling into her face- bad choice of a hair-do today:)

Can you tell how Ella likes to pose for the camera?
