Back to school

Stewart's back in school and this semester stinks. He has class Monday through Friday- all at night. So miss Ella and I have been spending lots of time together. She is so funny- she is growing up to fast. Anyway- at least Kristin and I can hang out while our husbands go learn..... or something like that:) We have dinner at there house Tuesdays and ours on Thursday. The boys come eat and then go to school. Lets just hope this semester goes by fast:)

Ella really enjoyed her chocolate chip cookie (thanks Kristin) And when did my baby get so big. I can't believe it.

Ella is doing great and learning lots of new things everyday. She loves the moon, tress, ants, the sun, barney, little mermaid, books and many more things. She also is talking like crazy, which I love. She is learning to count- she gets up to nine and then claps.... usually forgetting about 10.
She also wants to be Barney for Halloween. We were at Stewart's parents on Saturday and they had some catalogs with costume's and I made the BIG mistake of showing Ella barney. Then I showed her a few and asked her what she wanted to be..... she then proceeded to try and flip back a few pages looking for Barney. I think I get at least one more year before she starts picking these things.... right? I told Stewart maybe we should just let her be Barney, but he says no:)

Danielle said...: Ella cracks me up! :) I love the costumes.. we totally need to be the costume pickers for at least a few years!! Man, kids grow up too fast. The funny things Miss Ella says

Stewart and I were trying to decide what to do with Ella so we were spelling out words. We talked about going to the p-a-r-k! We didn't even think she was paying attention. In the car she says, " I want to go to the p-r-ck and play." I don't even know how she knew what we were spelling. A few letter off but that is pretty good:)

We asked Ella if she wanted to go get ice cream after the park and she said, " I want strawberry ice cream with sprinklers."

We were shopping and I said to Ella, "you are a monkey," and she looked at me and said.... " I not a monkey I a child of God!"

Stewart and I are getting new phones in a few days. Yesterday I said to him, "guess what we get in just a few more days?", and Ella says to me (very excited) "PRESENTS."

The other night I was getting Ella ready for bed. I was brushing Ella's teeth in the bathroom and she was acting really silly so I called her a tool. She says to me, " no, I a hammer:)"

Ella's fav pastime is reading books. My Mom got her a book about the Nativity. We were reading it and she was pointing everyone out. She then pointed to one of the wise men with a white beard and said, "this king Triton." (The little mermaid)
