Memorial Day (weekend) fun!

Monday we headed to Floyd Lamb to bbq with Kristen, Landon and Elliot. The girls had fun seeing the barn animals, peacocks, and feeding the ducks. They even let us squeeze in a game a boche ball. We had a good time and then decided to go hang out in the hot tub. It was pretty relaxing and the girls did great and there was no whining even though we hung out kinda late. We are so glad that the girls play so well together so us adults can all hang out. And it's so nice for Ella to have a friend her age. We have been doing so many fun things with her. Saturday afternoon we went to The District and Town square to walk around and enjoy out wonderful weather. Ella had a great time riding the carousel and dancing around to the band playing at town square. She loves to be out and about doing things... she is so funny. It was a great afternoon and we enjoyed the stormy weather.

The funny things Miss Ella says

Stewart and I were trying to decide what to do with Ella so we were spelling out words. We talked about going to the p-a-r-k! We didn't even think she was paying attention. In the car she says, " I want to go to the p-r-ck and play." I don't even know how she knew what we were spelling. A few letter off but that is pretty good:)

We asked Ella if she wanted to go get ice cream after the park and she said, " I want strawberry ice cream with sprinklers."

We were shopping and I said to Ella, "you are a monkey," and she looked at me and said.... " I not a monkey I a child of God!"

Stewart and I are getting new phones in a few days. Yesterday I said to him, "guess what we get in just a few more days?", and Ella says to me (very excited) "PRESENTS."

The other night I was getting Ella ready for bed. I was brushing Ella's teeth in the bathroom and she was acting really silly so I called her a tool. She says to me, " no, I a hammer:)"

Ella's fav pastime is reading books. My Mom got her a book about the Nativity. We were reading it and she was pointing everyone out. She then pointed to one of the wise men with a white beard and said, "this king Triton." (The little mermaid)
