Lovin' the Lake

I forgot how much I love the lake. We went out yesterday and had a BLAST. I wasn't sure how Ella would do but she loved it. We went out with our great friends The Nix's and they were nice enough to let us hang out with them for the day. John took us on the tube and through the narrows. We even took Ella on the tube. Stewart, Ella and I were on it and she wasn't too sure about it. I was so mad my camera died so we didn't get a picture but she looked so cute holding on tight and waving at the people on the boat. The water felt great and Ella always just wanted to be in the lake. We had fun jumping off the top of the houseboat into the lake, until Stewart dove in and ruptured his ear drum. He has done it once before so he is pretty sure that is what happened. He had to have it fixed before because it wouldn't heal itself so we will see. It is much better today. And thanks to Grammy for coming with us, Ella always loves when you come with us:)

The funny things Miss Ella says

Stewart and I were trying to decide what to do with Ella so we were spelling out words. We talked about going to the p-a-r-k! We didn't even think she was paying attention. In the car she says, " I want to go to the p-r-ck and play." I don't even know how she knew what we were spelling. A few letter off but that is pretty good:)

We asked Ella if she wanted to go get ice cream after the park and she said, " I want strawberry ice cream with sprinklers."

We were shopping and I said to Ella, "you are a monkey," and she looked at me and said.... " I not a monkey I a child of God!"

Stewart and I are getting new phones in a few days. Yesterday I said to him, "guess what we get in just a few more days?", and Ella says to me (very excited) "PRESENTS."

The other night I was getting Ella ready for bed. I was brushing Ella's teeth in the bathroom and she was acting really silly so I called her a tool. She says to me, " no, I a hammer:)"

Ella's fav pastime is reading books. My Mom got her a book about the Nativity. We were reading it and she was pointing everyone out. She then pointed to one of the wise men with a white beard and said, "this king Triton." (The little mermaid)
