For Ella's birthday this year, instead of a party we went to Disneyland. What better way to spend your third birthday. We started off the day with the Minnie and friends breakfast. It is a little pricey but totally worth it. Ella had such a great time. All the characters come around to your table and spend a few minutes. Ella was in pure heaven. She hugged each character so tight. When she saw Minnie she just about jumped off her chair. It was so cute. She just stared at her and hugged her, she even touched her checks and her face like she thought she was dreaming or something. It was a great way to start a fun day. It was the perfect day for Disneyland. No lines- the weather was perfect, not to hot or cold. We had such a fun time and were able to spend time at both parks. A big thanks to my Mom and Trent for taking all of us.
So the story behind the balloon picture: Ella got a balloon at the breakfast and we had it all day and she of course loved it. So at the end of the night we were waiting for the tram and I opened her stroller to let her out and bye, bye balloon. She didn't notice but then Stew said, " there goes her balloon." Oops! She looks up just in time to see it floating away and burst into tears. She is just reaching up to the sky saying, "my balloon." Nothing helped. Seriously the saddest thing ever. She is just so sad I couldn't believe it. So on the way back to our hotel we made a pit stop at Von's and picked up a few balloons. Stewart says she is too spoiled but come on folks it was her birthday. And it was my fault we lost the balloon.
