President's Day

So for the long weekend we went to Utah to visit my grandma. She lives past Salt Lake, so it's a long ride with a baby. We visited some of our favorite friends in St. George, Jeremy, Mindy and there cute kids. It was a good break for Ella from her car seat. We had lunch and then they invited us to Jeremy's parents corral to see the animals. I thought Ella would be so excited. Well, she HATED it. She was so scared, it was sad and amusing all at the same time. I think she will hate cows and horses for the rest of her life:) We will just have to visit them more, but we wish they still lived right by us. Mindy was a lifesaver and let us borrow there portable DVD player for the rest of our drive. I am going to have to invest in one of those, although listening to baby Einstein for that long gave Stewart and I a bit of a headache. Thanks again Mindy:) You saved us. We had a great time hanging out with my Grandma, Aunt Kathleen and cousins. We even got to see Aunt Ashlyn, which Ella loved. We visited with my other grandparents, but that was Sunday night after few long days and Ella wasn't in the best of moods. Thanks to our family for a great weekend.
