Loving the Lake

We had a fabulous day at the lake with John, Lisa, Kayla and Sommer. We played ALL day long and stayed cool be relaxing in the lake. We went on the tube multiple times and it got pretty rough out there. It was such a great day and I'm glad we my family came too. Although some how my mom managed to not have a single picture taken of her. We are so, so glad Ashlyn and Kyle live here now it has been really fun:)

How many grapes do you think I can get in my mouth mon?

James broke his hand so we wrapped up his hand so he could hang out in the lake with us.

We all went tubing and have minor injuries to show for it. Ella even took a turn:) She loved it.

grammyjan said...: No pics of me because i was just staying safe in the houseboat and taking care of my back. Next time I hope I can suit up and enjoy all the fun. I wish I could have seen everyone on the tubes (or flying crashing, losing wedding rings etc.)It would have been fun to see Ella on the tube. At least you guys finally talked James into coming out in the water. Thanks for taking me along. Hopefully next time I can go out on the speedboat and enjoy watching all the fun. The funny things Miss Ella says

Stewart and I were trying to decide what to do with Ella so we were spelling out words. We talked about going to the p-a-r-k! We didn't even think she was paying attention. In the car she says, " I want to go to the p-r-ck and play." I don't even know how she knew what we were spelling. A few letter off but that is pretty good:)

We asked Ella if she wanted to go get ice cream after the park and she said, " I want strawberry ice cream with sprinklers."

We were shopping and I said to Ella, "you are a monkey," and she looked at me and said.... " I not a monkey I a child of God!"

Stewart and I are getting new phones in a few days. Yesterday I said to him, "guess what we get in just a few more days?", and Ella says to me (very excited) "PRESENTS."

The other night I was getting Ella ready for bed. I was brushing Ella's teeth in the bathroom and she was acting really silly so I called her a tool. She says to me, " no, I a hammer:)"

Ella's fav pastime is reading books. My Mom got her a book about the Nativity. We were reading it and she was pointing everyone out. She then pointed to one of the wise men with a white beard and said, "this king Triton." (The little mermaid)
